Cross Tattoos are ones of the fav for both religious and nonreligious people. The reason: the cross is an ancient symbol in itself; it was used before the apparition of the Christian faith in the Sumerian culture as a solar symbol. Also, it can be traced back in other old cultures: its basic patterns are universal and stands for the Cardinal Points, the Sun race over the skies, the union of male/female, up/down, material/spiritual and other meanings related to cross and unite symbolics routes and worlds.
